Update on MH370 Search
5 November 2015
Fugro Discovery has been undertaking search operations in the southern Indian Ocean.
Yesterday evening, a crew member was diagnosed by the ship’s doctor with suspected appendicitis. As we have continued to emphasise, the safety and well-being of the crew is of the highest priority.
Medical attention is being given on board, but further treatment is required.
The towfish has been recovered and the ship is returning to Fremantle. It will take around six days sailing for Fugro Discovery to reach port where the crew member can receive further treatment.
